About Me
Hey, I'm Koen 👋
I'm a UX/UI Designer with 7 years of experience working at digital agencies, corporations and start-ups . A bit earlier on the timeline I have 6 years of Project Management experience. The last 2 years I had the opportunity to be Design Lead as well.
I'm a proactive designer that's conscious about business and user goals. I apply Design Thinking principles when I'm executing on UX Design. I love discovering people's story.
In my UI Design work I'm specific when creating screens and interactions. I research industries, analyse proven work, collect inspiration. I apply the 8pt spacing system. I apply usability checks. I use colour tools. etc. You get the point. I mainly work in Figma. I love working with tools like Miro, Dovetail, Hotjar etc.
As you can see in my free time I enjoy (craft)beer. I create illustrations and electronic music. I like to go to the gym, game and sports in general.
